Board Director, Division 2
Meet Dan Jenkins
Dan Jenkins was elected to the West Valley Water District Board of Directors in 2022, representing Division 2 — the Cities of Rialto and Bloomington, along with the surrounding unincorporated communities of San Bernardino County.
Public service has been a constant throughout Dan's life. He earned the rank of Life Scout with the Boy Scouts of America and went on to volunteer with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Citizens on Patrol program. In his career, Dan has worked in healthcare, taking on leadership roles including Lead Technologist and Unit Base Team Leader — work that's shaped his focus on care, compassion, and putting people first.
That same commitment carries into his water district service. As a leader with Water Education Latino Leaders (WELL), Dan works to keep water safe, reliable, and affordable, champions conservation, and helps build the next generation of water professionals through workforce development.
Outside of his professional and civic work, Dan volunteers with Planes of Fame and stays active with water polo, swimming, and the outdoors. He and his wife are raising three children, and that family life drives his commitment to smart growth, environmental stewardship, and a water future the whole community can count on.

Vote-by-mail is available. However you choose to vote, here's what Division 2 voters need to know to make sure your ballot counts.
Countdown to Election Day
Make a Plan
Three Ways to Cast Your Ballot
Every active registered voter in California is mailed a ballot ahead of the election. You can return it by mail, drop it off, or vote in person.
Vote by mail
Your ballot arrives in the mail before Election Day. Complete it, sign the return envelope, and mail it back — no postage required in California.
- Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day.
- Sign the envelope — unsigned envelopes can delay or disqualify your ballot.
- Mail early so your ballot isn't held up in transit.
Drop off your ballot
Official drop boxes are placed throughout San Bernardino County, including locations in Rialto and Bloomington.
- Drop boxes open weeks before Election Day.
- Ballots must be deposited by the close of polls on Election Day.
- You can also hand your ballot to any vote center.
Vote in person
In-person voting is available at vote centers ahead of and on Election Day.
- Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
- Polls close at 8:00 PM — if you're in line at 8:00 PM, you can still vote.
- Same-day registration is available in California.
Check your registration
Confirm you're registered at your current address, and check where your ballot is in the process.
